I’m in my 80th yr. on this planet. My only comment is that what is old was once new; i.e. classic rock is Bill Haley & the Comets. My mom thought that it was something other than music. She was a Perry Como fan at the time ‘tho’ growing-up she probably liked Bing Crosby. Hopefully, we all can agree that tastes change but good music is always good music, be it dance, easy listening, ballad or folk (my era).
